On June 26, 1954 he married Virginia (Josoff) Nimerichter in Omaha, NE.
While living in Omaha, Laddie worked for Union Pacific Railroad and Central Fiber Box Company. In March of 1960, he moved to Mercer and began his farming career. He had milk cows, stock cows, pigs, sheep, and other various livestock.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Marilyn Velasquez; and one brother, Ronald Nimerichter.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Nimerichter of the home; his two sons, Laddie (Janie) Nimerichter, Lineville, IA, and Father Dean Nimerichter, Lacona, IA; sister, Arlene Josoff, Centerville, IA; 3 granddaughters, Carrie (Geoff) Tessau, St. Charles, IA, Crystal (Todd) Schilling, Hampshire, IL, and Cathy (Larry) Smith, Trenton, MO; 5 great grandchildren, Dylan Smith, Noah Tessau, Danica Tessau, Greyson Schilling, and Liam Tessau. Laddie was also looking forward to the sixth great grandchild, Baby Schilling due in September.
