Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 3, 1992 at Parkview Mortuary at 10 A.M. for John Paul Jones, 48, of Wasco, who passed away Thursday, Oct. 29, 1992 at Kern Medical Center, Bakersfield. Jones was born Feb. 10, 1944 in Arkansas. Jones was employed as a farm laborer. Jones is survived by his wife, Barbara (Lucas) Jones of Wasco; sons, Johnny R. Jones, Steven R. Jones, Darwin L. Jones, and Bobby E. Jones, all of Wasco; daughter, Teresa L. Jones, of Wasco; and a sister, Billie Caviness of Florida. Interment will take place at North Kern Cemetery, Delano. Reverend A. E. Clark will preside over services. Parkview Mortuary is handling arrangements. Obituary from The Delano Record John was a kind, hard-working man who always put his family first in his life. After a short battle with colon cancer, he passed away the morning he was to come back home from the hospital. He is greatly missed and will always be remembered for being a big kid who loved to joke around and have fun with his kids.
