RUTH EVELYN MARTIN

A retired nurse's aide with Greenwell Springs Hospital and a resident of Denham Springs, she died at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 21, 2000, at Summit Hospital, Baton Rouge. She was 93 and a native of Fairburn, Minn. She was a civilian aircraft mechanic during World War II.

Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 8 a.m. Thursday. Religious services at the funeral home chapel at 10 a.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. Tom Adams. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Park.

Survived by a daughter, Jessie Lee Hull, Denham Springs; two sisters, Judy Means, Rocky, Okla., and Mary McGary, Shiro, Texas; a grandson and spouse, Kenneth R. and Linda Hull, Gonzales; and a great-granddaughter and spouse, Amy and Brandon Porche, Lake Charles.

Preceded in death by parents, Charles and Mary True Palmer; a daughter; two sons; three sisters, Connie Moseson, Fern Wilson and Leona Rogers; and two brothers. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church, Denham Springs.
