Fulkerson, Edith Mildred ,

90, passed away July 7, 2017. She was a member of Grace Community Church of the Nazarene. God had His hand on Mildred all her life, and gave her visions starting at age 5 and subsequent times. She was a prolific writer of wonderful poetry honoring her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, through the power of the Holy Spirit; she even wrote a song. She was an avid witness for Jesus desiring everyone to know the joy of being a Christian and to inherit eternal life. She was a terrific role model for her family all her life and is dearly loved and appreciated.

Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Fulkerson; mother, Mabel Thompson; father, Otha Ard; brothers, Wilber Ard and Leland Ard; and sister, Gladys Ard.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Pamela Childers, Brenda Blythe (Dick), Ronald Fulkerson, and Cathy Perry; 10 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 13, 2017 at 12 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home Dignity Chapel with burial at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 pm-8 pm at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions in memory of Edith can be made to Grace Community Church of the Nazarene.
