Joy Ann Camp, age 82, of Acworth, GA., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 1st, 2017. She was born on February 19th, 1935 to the late Ethel and Norman Bennett in Acworth, GA., where she lived all her life. A Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 5th, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Piney Grove Baptist Church in Acworth, GA. Mrs. Camp will lie in state before the funeral from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. The Family will receive friends for a visitation on Tuesday, July 4th, 2017 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home.
Mrs. Camp was a Manager of Allen Department Store. She enjoyed flowers, cooking and teaching Sunday school. Joy Ann was a very Christian woman who had a strong belief in her salvation. She was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church for 28 years.
Joy Ann is preceded in death by her parents Ethel and Norman Bennett; sisters, Velma Bampley, Noreen Brown; and brother Calvin Bennett.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Glover D Camp; sisters, Susan Merrill (Jimmy), Murl Boehlke (Dave); and several nieces and nephews.
Joy Ann Camp will forever be cherished by all who knew her as a wonderful friend and devoted wife.
