VAUGHN GERTRUDE "TRUDY" entered peacefully into rest at her Hayward home on July 9, 2001. She was 99. Born in Idaho on June 27, 1902, Trudy was a retired receiving clerk for Montgomery Wards. She enjoyed fishing, spending time outdoors, knitting and crossword puzzles. Tudy was devoted to her family and will forever be missed. She is survived by her sister, Helen Gould of Washington; daughters-in-law, Altha Mullen and Sylvia Harris; grandchildren, Sandra Sarmento, Randy Harris, Jeff Harris, Kelli Harris, Sean Harris, Clifford Branch and Jessica Nohles; great-grandchildren, Danell, Kristie, Michelle, Stephen, Desiree, James, Suzanne, Jessica, Jared, Robbie and Nicholas; great-great-grandchildren, Laura, Chris, Trina, Kevin, Troy, AJ, Austin, Niki and Zander; and many loving extended family. Family and friends are invited to attend graveside services 11 AM on Thursday at Mt. Eden Cemetery in Hayward.
