Age 74, 1906 Holloway Avenue. Died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Idell Nelson, with whom he had lived. Born in Russell County, Alabama, he had lived here 10 years and was a retired construction worker.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lucy Johnson; another daughter, Mrs. Bernice, Williams of Indianapolis, and six sons, Eugene Johnson of Phoenix City, Ala.; Charlie Johnson of Miami, Fla., and Augusta, Willie B., Elroy and Curtis Johnson all of Indianapolis.
