Rena E. Cobb, 91, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday morning December 25, 2002 at the home of her sister in Rogersville. Rena was born on September 24, 1911 in Christian County, Mo., to William Frank Campbell and Minnie Alice Wills Campbell. She was a graduate of Rogersville High School, Class of 1930, and was a member of the Harmony Baptist Church, Rogersville. Rena was married to Clifford E. Cobb on November 26, 1933, and he preceded her in death on June 13, 1993. Rena retired from the State of California Motor Vehicle Department. She was also preceded in death by her son, Richard E. Cobb; brother Rex Campbell; three sisters, Effie Anderson, Nina Whitmer and Polly Freymiller; three nephews, Ron and John Miller, and Billy Anderson. Surviving is her sister, Euna Miller of Rogersville; two nieces, Georgetta Parks and Leota Cunningham; two sisters-in-law, Lella Campbell and Estell Cobb; and several cousins and great-nieces and nephews. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, December 30, 2002 at Harmony Baptist Church, Rogersville, with burial in the Pembina Cemetery.
