Ethel Nell Pollard, 87, of Columbia, died Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 9:32 P.M. at her home.

She was born September 13, 1929, in Adair County, to the late Harry & Nancy Curry Brockman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bud” Pollard on July 15, 2015, and a daughter, Patricia Ann Pollard. She was a member of Hutchison Community Church and a former dietary aid for Summit Manor Nursing Home and the Adair County School System.

Survivors Include:

One daughter & son-in-law – Geneva & L.C. Bradshaw of Columbia

Four brothers – Hollis, Joe (Peggy), Jimmy & Jesse (Sally) Brockman all of Campbellsville

Two sisters – Julia Reynolds of Campbellsville & Jean (Kenneth) Corbin of New Albany, IN

One granddaughter – Angie (Todd) Stephens of Columbia

One great-granddaughter – Breann Stephens

One step-great-granddaughter – Krystal Stephens

One step-great-great-granddaughter – Madalyne Dotson

Several other relatives & friends also survive

Funeral Service – Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Wisdom officiating

Burial will follow the service in Haven Hill Cemetery

Visitation 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. Friday

Casket Bearers – Paul Green, Jr., Gary Smith, Greg Riddle, Doug Shibe, John Burton, Chris Bragg, Breann Stephens & Riley Rogers

Honorary Casket Bearers – Hollis Brockman, Joe Brockman, Jimmy Brockman, Jesse Brockman, Scott Akin & Larry Bragg

Memorials are requested to Hosparus of Green River. These may be left at the funeral home.
