Clara "Grace" Stine, 89, of rural Farina, Illinois, passed away at 9:26 p.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at Lutheran Care Center in Altamont, Illinois.

Funeral services will be at 12 p.m. Saturday at Freedom Reigns in Christ Church in St. Elmo, Illinois. There will be a two-hour visitation prior to the service. Tom Fedrigon will be officiating. Burial will be at Stein-Stine Cemetery in rural Farina, Illinois. Memorials may go to Stein-Stine Cemetery Association, Lutheran Care Center in Altamont, or the donor's choice. Grace was born on June 9, 1928, in Fayette County, the daughter of John "Fred" and Myrtle G. (Williams) McMillan. She married Stanley O. Stine on Sept. 15, 1946, at the Macedonia Christian Church, by Carl Gibson, where they were members for several years. Later, her and Stanley moved their membership to the St. Elmo Christian Church. She was active in the church as a pianist, Sunday School and Vacation Bible School teacher. She enjoyed cooking, working with the community and spending time with friends and family.

She is survived by her two sons, Gordon Stine (wife Denise) of St. Elmo, Illinois; and Stanton Stine (special friend Linda) of Farina, Illinois; two daughters, Judy Washburn (husband Orin) of Martinsville, Illinois; and Sandra Widger (husband Fred) of Holiday Island, Arkansas; one sister, Vontella McEndollar of Neoga, Illinois; 13 grandchildren, Matt Washburn, Julie Burk, Kim Widger, Tim Widger, Gina Widger, Tammy Springer, Chris Stine, Mike Stine, Pam Armstrong, Jared Stine, Daniel Stine, Shana Waldinger and Jil Patton; 31 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John "Fred" and Myrtle McMillan; husband, Stanley Stine; sister, Dorothy Mahon; grandson, Brent Washburn; and daughter-in-law, Mary (Wallace) Stine.
