Military honors for Doyle G. Ball of El Reno will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin. Memorial services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at First Assembly of God Church in El Reno with Rev. Dean Atkinson and Rev. J.D. Bails officiating. Services are under direction of Wilson Funeral Home.
Mr. Ball died Tuesday at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Mo. He was born Oct. 24, 1945, in Hillsboro, Texas. He served in the Marines. He moved to El Reno in the early 1990s. He was a former minister for the Way of Holiness International Ministry.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley of the home; a son, Robert Ball of Yukon; daughters, Chris Whitney of El Reno, Teresa DeFoor of Houston and Monica Ball of Midwest City; brothers, Bobby Ball of Whitney, Texas, T.J. Ball of Waxahachie, Texas, and George Ball of College Station, Texas; and seven grandchildren.
