Linda Scimeca, age 66, of Sugar Grove, formerly of Chicago, passed away Monday, June 12, 2017. She was born September 15, 1950, in Chicago, the daughter of Martin and Dorothy (Drautzburg) Bucaro. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Ross Scimeca; Three children: Desire' (Brandon) Ross, Janelle (Andrew) McCornack and Daniel (Sara) Scimeca; Five grandchildren: Makenzie, Evan, Alexis, Abagail and Alina; One brother, John (Luz) Bucaro; A sister, Dottie Bucaro; one sister-in-law Marie Bucaro; a brother-in-law, Al Ashbeck; many nieces, nephews and a family of friends. Visitation is 2-8 p.m., at St. Katherine Drexel Catholic Church, 8S055 Dugan Rd, Sugar Grove, IL 60554, on Friday, June 16, 2017. Mass begins at10:30 a.m., Saturday, June 17th. Private family interment will follow cremation at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Linda's to benefit JDRF.
