Adele was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and a 1933 graduate of Strong Vincent High School. For over 50 years she worked throughout the Erie County Courthouse, retiring from the Controller's Office in 1995. Active in politics, she had been a member of the Democratic Women's Council. She met monthly with her "club girls" since high school graduation. Her hobbies included dancing, playing bridge, golfing, bowling, and playing bocce.
She was preceded in death by her parents and, in 1975, by her husband, Russell P. Bole, whom she married at St. Patrick Catholic Church on June 24, 1940.
Adele is survived by her daughter, Barbara Walter and her husband, Ross, of Fairview; a granddaughter; a grandson; her "adopted" daughter, Karen Noce; several cousins; and a niece and nephew in Wilmington, N.C.
Burial will be in Erie Cemetery.
