Diddy Louella Harsh passed away at Sunshine Terrace, June 9, 2000.

She was born July 19, 1912, in Ogden, Utah, to John Wesley and Madge Blanton Smith. She married John William Harsh in 1931.

Together they had four children, Verna Sinclair (deceased), John Weldon Harsh of Logan, Nadine Adams of Providence, and Kenneth Deloy Harsh of Evanston, Wyo.

She has two sisters and one brother, Martha Dillon of Ogden, Evelyn Dahle of Terrace Grove, and Gilbert Smith of Oregon, all of whom are still living.

Diddy spent her younger days helping her father on the farm milking cows and plowing beets. After marrying, she worked as a waitress for the Tally-Ho Cafe for 20 years, then at the Lofthouse Cafe for another 20 years.

Diddy loved the outdoors and spent many hours hunting and fishing with her beloved husband. She loved to work in her yard and rose garden; people would often walk up the road to see her roses. She was a visiting teacher for the North Logan 3rd Ward Relief Society.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, her daughter Verna Sinclair, and her son-in-law Jay Sinclair.

She had 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was cared for by the loving and caring angels of Sunshine Terrace for the last year and a half. We thank them for their love and support.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Allen-Hall Mortuary. A viewing will be held from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Interment will be in the Logan City Cemetery.
