ALICEVILLE, Ala. - Eutalla Davis Hammond, 96, died Feb. 21, 2007, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services are Saturday at 2 p.m. at Dogwood Chapel with the Revs. Franklin McLelland and David Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Magnolia Memorial Gardens. Visitation is today from 5-7 p.m. at Dogwood Chapel in Aliceville. Skelton Funeral Home of Reformm Ala., is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Hammond was born Feb. 11, 1911, in Birmingham, Ala., to the late William E. and Martha Sanders Davis. She was a member of Aliceville First United Methodist Church and was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles F. Cox and Mike Hammond; son, Michael E. Hammond; brothers, Charles V., Edmond and Paul Leslie Davis; and sisters, Ora L. Davis and Mae Cox.
