-- Jordan S. (Colonel) Critchfield, 74, of 557 East Morrison, died in Clinton county hospital at 2:45 p.m. Sunday after an illness of five days. He was a patient there for three days.
Born in Brown county he resided in Frankfort over 40 years. He was a member of the East Side Christian church and was employed by a machine company here. He was a veteran of the Spanish-American war in which he served in the cavalry.
In 1913 he married Ethel Bristow.
Surviving with his widow are one stepson, Charles U. McAlister of Fairmount; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Madley of Eckerty, and Mrs. W. C. Faust of Princeton; and two brothers, Edward of St. Louis, Mo., and Charles of Paoli.
