FAIRFAX - Services for Rev. A.D. Hair, 78, of Union School Road, will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, August 20, 2001, at Outreach Ministries Church with the Rev. Don McCormick officiating. Burial will be in Barnwell County Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 tonight, August 19, 2001, at Mole Funeral Home.
Rev. Hair died Saturday, August 18, 2001, at Providence Hospital, Columbia. A native of Bamberg County, he was a son of the late Aaron Hair and Claudia Fail Hair. Rev. Hair was a minister of the Pentecostal Faith, having preached in many churches in Allendale, Barnwell and Bamberg Counties. He was a merchant and owner of Hair's Discount Store of Allendale. Rev. Hair was instrumental in forming many churches. He was an active member of The Outreach Ministries.
Surviving are his wife, Delma Kennedy Hair of Fairfax; sons, Glenn Hair, Steve Hair, both of Fairfax; daughter, Vonetta Black of Fairfax; brothers, David Hair of Barnwell, Frankie Hair of Cordova; sister, Maude Hair Ray Jarvis of Augusta; seven grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren.
