"Celia Kemp b. on Nov 25, 1846, d. in 1942, the last child of John T. Kemp and Mary Roberts Turner. She married Thomas Gill on Nov 7, 1906, Washington Parish, La., but the marriage was unsuccessful. Celia lived with her sister Elizabeth 'Betsy' Turner Carter and niece Arie Carter Parker on the old Kemp-Carter place. She is buried in the Israel Carter Cemetery located near the old homeplace."
