Timothy was the son of John and Mary Howley. His first wife was Susan Fitzgerald. They married about 1852/53 in Gloucester, Ontario, Canada. They had seven known children, John, Mary, Michael my 2nd great grandpa, Timothy, Patrick, Martin, and James. Susan died 1871 Ontario, Canada. Timothy then married Catherine Raap/Ralph about 1872. They had eight known children, Walter, James, William, Thomas, Peter, Edward, Joseph, and Laura. All of Timothy's children made there homes all over the United States. Minnesota and the state of Washington were most of them.
