Robert Vidal Gonzales of Pontiac, May 28,2017;age 78, Son of the late Vidal and Josephine Nannete Gonzales; brother of Jeanne Saunders (Art) D'Arcy Gonzales (Karen) and the late Nicholas Vaterian Gonzales (deceased Vietnam War); father of Bob V. Gonzales, Michelle Gritzinger (David) and Tanya Rosario (Gerzon); grandfather of J. Matthew Gonzales, Felicia Wormnest and Amber Shrider (Matt), great-grandfather of Carter Wormnest and Mason Shrider; uncle of Mark Saunders, Tina Schlundt (Steve), Nicholas Gonzales (Anne) and Anna Schunot (Mick).
Mr. Gonzales served honorably in U.S.M.C. and U.S. Army (ABN.DIV) under both the SEATO and USA EUR. He was a member of American Legion Post # 225 (Michigan)
A Memorial Celebration of Robert's Life will be held Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. Trinity Lutheran Church, 7925 Sashabaw Rd., Clarkston, MI. The family will receive friends at the church 10:00 am until time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army or Special Olympics.
