Alton Amie passed away Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2006, at age 78. He was a retired potman with Kaiser Aluminum and a resident of Arabi.
Mr. Amie was the husband of Helen Amie, father of Alan Dale Amie of Arabi, Joey Patrick Amie of Covington, Rubie Blanche Teal of Pearl River and Sharon Kay Amie of Slidell and the brother of Euce Simoneaux of Maurepas.
He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
Visitation will be at D.T. Williams Funeral Home chapel, 67525 La. 41, Pearl River, on Wednesday, March 1, from 10 a.m. until funeral service at 12:30 p.m. Interment in St. Bernard Cemetery, Chalmette.
