Funeral services for Glandon Leo Colburn, 71, were held November 16 at 2 pm at North Side Baptist Church.

He was a native of Kentucky and a former resident of Lucedale. He had resided in Gulfport for several years. He was a member of the Baptist faith. He died November 13, at Gulfport Memorial Hospital.

He is survived by his wife Lorrine Colburn of Gulfport; five sons, Roy Yelberton, Bruce Colburn, Richard Colburn and Robert Colburn, all of Wilkberry, NC; and Mitchell Colburn of Tupelo; and three daughters, Elizabeth Colburn of Pottstown, Penn., Janice Morris and Kathy Colburn, both of Gulfport, and 19 grandchildren.

Also surviving are one brother, Harold Colburn of Lucedale and five sisters, Billy Sue Colburn, Dorothy Thompson and Jean Havard, all of Lucedale; Woodie Ruth Roberson of Poplarville and Margaret Smith of Wilmer, AL.

Services were conducted by Rev. Wayne McMahan and Rev. Harold Guin. Interment was in the North Side Cemetery, with George County Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Published in the George County Times, November 18, 1993. Submitted by Betty R Marshall.
