Daniel L. "Dan" Crady, 76, of La Crosse died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2003, at St. Joseph's Rehab Center, La Crosse.
Dan was born Nov. 19, 1927, in Prairie du Chien, Wis., to Herman and Audrey (Harwood) Crady.
He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1945 to 1948.
On June 18, 1949, he married Vera Jean Burroughs.
After marriage they farmed in the Stoddard, Wis. area, and then he worked for Dairyland Power Co-op in La Crosse for more than 30 years.
Dan is survived by his wife, Vera Jean Crady; two daughters, Cheryl and Pamela; two sons, Mark and Joel; six grandchildren; and brothers, Timothy, Paul, David and James.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Patricia.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Dec. 30, at 1 p.m. from Woodruff-Jandt Funeral Home, 4239 Mormon Coulee Road, La Crosse. James Crady will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, La Crosse. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, Dec. 29, from 5 to 7 p.m., and one hour prior to service time on Tuesday.
