Yolanda Santayana of Luzerne passed away Saturday, June 3, 2017, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Yolanda was born in Pringle and was the daughter of the late Attilio and Rose Isopi Castellani.

She was a member of Holy Family Parish Luzerne. She was an amazing and dedicated seamstress professionally and also for the women in the neighborhood. Yolanda was a member of the International Ladies' Garment Workers Union and a former member the Luzerne Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary. She had a love of outdoors and was an avid camper in her younger years. She also had a love of animals especially her dog, Sue.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who was devoted to her family and raising her children.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bobe; a grandson, Eric; sisters, Mary Radnovitch, and Annie Castellani; and a brother, Rocky Castellani.

Surviving are sons, Manny, Mark and wife, Sheryl; and Kurt and wife, Susan Stavinsky; grandchildren, Morgan, Amy and Chase.

The family would like to thank the many caregivers who took incredible care of Lonnie and allowed her to stay in the comfort of her home.

The funeral for Yolanda will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday from Lehman-Gregory Funeral Home Inc., 281 Chapel St., Swoyersville, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Parish Bennett Street, Luzerne. Interment will be in Italian Independent Cemetery, West Wyoming.
