The Gadsden Times, Monday, March 13, 1967: Otis M. "Dutch" Banholzer, 74, died Sunday after an extended illness. Survivors: Miss Margaret Banholzer; Mrs. E.S. Manderson both of Gadsden; son, Gordon Banholzer, Huntsville; sisters, Mrs. E. E. Freedle, Mrs. H. M. Reese, Mrs. Kate Aderholdt and brother, E. M. Bonholzer, Birmngham; grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Services Tuesday at Collier-Butler Funeral Home and burial in Forrest Cemetery. He was a native of Birmingham and a resident of Gadsden for the past 50 years. He was a member of Forrest Avenue Baptist Church and a veteran of World War I. He was a retired metal worker with Reynolds Metal Works. Collier-Butler Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
