He loved fishing, listening to jazz and being with his family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Jean Watson, mother Ethel Anderson and father Thomas Watson, Sr. He is survived by fifteen children, numerous grand and great grandchildren and a host of friends. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association, 3846 W. 75th Street, Prairie Village, Ks, 66208.

He was cremated and his ashes were buried on his wife, Jean's grave. He has no marker of his own.

When his mother died (his father was already deceased) he was awarded a guardian that had to sign her approval for him to get married when he was under 21. (20) Her name was Katie Williams. Williams was her married name and she was a widow in 1940. Who is she?
