Alice E. Rubert, 92, of Roscoe, Illinois, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2008, in her residence. Born August 27, 1916, the daughter of Alge and Agnes Appelgren Elofson.
Alice married D. Harold Rubert December 17, 1938, in Dubuque, Iowa. He predeceased her on June 6, 2001. Alice was employed by First National Bank, retiring in 1978. She was a member of the Salvation Army Temple.
Survivors include: sons, Grant Rubert, Steven (Judy) Rubert, and Gene (Sarajane) Rubert; daughter, Darlene (Jim) Pelzer; ten grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She will always be remembered as a dear and loving soul, forever young.
