Grover H. Collins, 61, 620 North Avenue E., Western Montana native died Thursday morning at a local hospital. He was a salesman for the Western Montana Motors, 819 S. Higgins Avenue.
Mr. Collins was born October 26, 1892 at Bigfork and attended schools there. He was married in Kalispell September 26, 1911, and lived there 16 years, employed as an automobile salesman. He moved to Missoula in 1928 and resided here until 1938, when he moved to Florence and opened a store. He returned to Missoula in 1945 and resided here since. In 1952 he ran for county treasurer.
Survivors are his widow, Olga M., Missoula; two sons, Oscar M and Rudolph R., Missoula; two daughters, Mrs. Harold Wilhelm, Ritzville, Washington, and Mrs. Floyd Harrison, Missoula; two brothers, Arthur V, Missoula, and John H., Spokane; two sisters, Mrs. Earl Hathaway, Burke, Idaho, and Mrs. Lyman Macomber, Niarada; 13 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
