He was born in the Frazier Community of Wayne Co. Ky, son of the late James David Morrow and Dora Gholson Morrow. He was a retired Chemical Engineer from American Air Filter Engineer Department, Louisville, Ky, served in the U. S. Army from June 11th, 1943 to December 3rd, 1945. He saw action in the North Atlantic between November 1943 to May 1945. While serving in the 107th anti aircraft artillery as a machine gunner on British troop ships he completed 16 round trips between the U. S. and Europe during a 17 month period. He is survived by his wife; Lois Wilson Morrow, whom he married on April 6th, 1946 in Dayton, Ohio: two sons; Martin (and Beth) Morrow, Leitchfield, Kentucky and David (and Chris) Morrow, Fairdale, Kentucky: one daughter; Deborah Morrow, Leitchfield, Kentucky: one brother; Joe Morrow, Somerset, Kentucky; one sister; Luda Black, Bronston, Kentucky: 7 grandchildren; Cody, Sarah, Heidi, Jeremy, William, Steven and Patrick.
