Mr. Lentz was the son of the late Israel and Susanna Guise Lentz and he was the brother of Albert J. Lentz, the first Adams Countian killed in World War I. Mr. Lentz was born at Lee's Headquarters where his fathers family resided for a number of years. Mr. Lentz was employed by the American Machine and Foundry Company, York, for a number of years as a machinist. He was unmarried.
Surviving are these sisters and a brother; Mrs. Bertha Butt, with whom he resided; Mrs. Frances Kennell, Gettysburg and William Lentz, Centerton N.J. There are a number of nieces and nephews.
Internment will be made in Friends' Grove Cemetery, near Biglerville.
