Adam Galindo, age 51, was called to be with our Heavenly Father on May 22, 2017. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 26, 2017 at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church with Father Joe Geleney as celebrant. A visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 25, 2017 at the Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel. A private interment will be held at a later date.
Adam was a loving son, husband, brother, uncle and godfather that always lit up any room he entered. The meaning of the name “Adam” is “to make” and he spent endless hours in his workshop where he worked on his cars and built cabinets. He was an overall jack-of-all-trades and could make anything out of a couple of pieces of wood and a wire. His talents were endless. Due to his talent he was able to travel the world and see many amazing sites including: Singapore, Paris, Germany, Switzerland, Brunei, London, and all over the United States.
Adam’s generosity was endless as he never hesitated to help others in their time of need. He always placed others ahead of himself.
Adam was married on June 10, 1989 to his devoted wife, Wendy whom he shared his wonderful life with for 28 years. Together Adam and Wendy have two beautiful daughters that he called his greatest accomplishments. His wife Wendy and his daughters, Maranda and Emily were the loves of his life.
His other accomplishments in his life included working on Air Force One, meeting George Bush, working on military aircraft modifications and NASA aircraft.
Adam was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan and will remain true San Angelo High School Lake View Chief. He will be missed by all.
His parents, Domingo and Jessie (Guzman) Galindo; and a brother, Edward Galindo preceded him in death.
Other survivors include his sisters, brothers and their spouses, Cynthia Ornelas and Joe, Stella Patterson and Tim, Sandra Galindo and Christy, Alex Galindo, Richard Galindo, David Galindo and Marilee, Roland Galindo and Gilbert Guzman; his sisters-in-law, Nydia Rodriguez and Johnelle Turner; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
