ULIA M. NICELY, 79, of Ashton, W.Va., passed away Monday, July 4, 2016, in Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was born January 11, 1937, in Cabell County, West Virginia, a daughter of Harrison and Mary Hodge Gibson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five siblings. Julie was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Raymond L. Nicely; two daughters and a son-in-law, Rebecca and Richard Dean of Barboursville, W.Va., and Christy Heaberlin of Ashton, W.Va.; six grandchildren, Jodi, Katlin, Paige, Aerial, Megan and Bradley; four great-grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law Margaret and Rudy Hagley of Lesage, W.Va.; and a brother and sister-in-law, Robert Harrison Gibson Jr. and Earline Gibson of Lesage, W.Va. Funeral services will be conducted at noon Friday, July 8, 2016, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Tim Dean officiating. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton, W.Va.
