Dolores W. Galica, 73, Wausau, died Monday, Dec. 21, 2009, as a result of a motor vehicle accident.

She was born Aug. 8, 1936, in Antigo, daughter of the late Andrew and Appolonia (VanBoxtel) DeBroux.

Dolores retired from Wausau Insurance Co. after more than 20 years in secretarial services.

She continued to remain active with her family after retirement. She especially enjoyed the Hokey Pokey.

Survivors include her children, Donald Galica, Wausau, Susan (Arnaldo) Perez, Wausau, Cindy (Wally) Reetz, Mosinee, Sandy (Bill) Marg, Mosinee, Sheri Struck, Wausau; seven grandchildren, Jennifer (Pat) Literski, Amy (Andy) Guillaume, Tony Struck, Anthony Perez, Nicole Reetz, Matthew and Jessica Marg; siblings, Lucille Housey, Minnesota, Adrian (Shirley) DeBroux, Merrill, Gilbert DeBroux, Wausau, Jerry (Barbara) DeBroux, Grafton, Florence (Bob) Bures, Deerbrook, Margie Servi, Mattoon, Billy DeBroux, Shawano, Rosella (Tom) Waldvogel, Aniwa, Danny (Theresa) DeBroux, Phlox; two sisters-in-law, Agnes DeBroux, Janesville, and Ruth DeBroux, Richfield; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Joseph; son, David; brothers, Alphonse and Victor; and sister, Joan.

Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 26, 2009, at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth St., Wausau. The Rev. Raymond Connor will officiate. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the services all at the Sixth Street funeral home.
