Cornelius Hollemans, aged 91, passed away Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 28, 1973 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. D. (Nellie) Van Eerden, of 3001 Eastern Ave. SE.
Mr. Hollemans was a member of the Burton Heights Christian Reformed Church and a former custodian at the Seymour Christian School for nineteen years.
He is survived by his children, Mr. and Mrs. William Hollemans of West Palm Beach, Fla., Mrs. D. (Nellie) Van Eerden and Mr. and Mrs. Bert (Frances) Heilman of Grand Rapids; nine grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; a brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Hollemans of Grand Rapids and two sisters-in-laws, Mrs. Elizabeth Hollemans of Grand Rapids and Mrs. Flora Burkhardt of Sheboygan, Wisc.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the De Vries Funeral Home, 1204 Eastern SE, Rev. Arnold Brink officiating. Interment Rest Lawn Memorial Park.
Relatives and friends may meet the family at the funeral home, Wednesday from 7 to 9 and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Seymour Christian School.
