Irene"Baby" Blanco, born February 3, 1944, a retired administrative assistant from the Az State Senate, passed away on May 16, 2017 in Phoenix, Az. A native of Phoenix, Irene attended South Mountain High School and Phoenix College. She spent many years working for Valley National Bank and various other positions in Phoenix. but was most proud of her accomplishments working at the State Senate where she served with several senators. Irene has a large extended family and friends, of whom she was very encouraging and proud. always trying to help others reach their true potential. She had a zest for life and was always up for new experiences, vacations, cruises, parties and most of all, the casinos! Irene is preceded in death by her husband Jesse, parents Chris and Irene(Ybarra)Blanco and brothers Joseph, Eddy, Raymond, and Frank Blanco. She is survived by 5 brothers, Chris, Ruben, Oscar, Isaac and Paul, daughters Sonya Ollarsaba(Ernesto), Priscilla Annette Campbell(Charles)' and Bianca Apodaca(Joe), grand-daughters Kymberly, Celeste, Isabella Victoria and Malia, and grand-sons Alex, Joseph and Christopher as well as 3 great-grandchildren, Damien, Aria, Aiden all of whom she loved.
