Funeral for Mrs. Maude M. Moody, 80, of Rt. 2 Decatur, who died today at Falkville Nursing Home, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. C.G. Redding officiating, with burial in New Friendship Cemetery, Peck Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include five sons, David Moody and Johnny Moody of Decatur, James Moody of Guntersville, William Moody of Morgan City and J.D. Moody of Somerville; six daughters, Mrs. Marie Houser and Mrs. Irene Baker, both of Somerville, Mrs. Ann Hatfield, Mrs. Frances Speegle and Mrs. Ollie Martin, all of Decatur, Mrs. Lucille Thompson of Florida; one brother, Richard Atchley of Decatur; one sister, Mrs. Mary Tarlton of Decatur; 35 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Moody was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
