She loved her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, traveling, and was an avid Atlanta Braves. She was a dedicated homemaker and mother who was married to Paul Gibson for many years and who preceded her in death in 2006.
She is survived by her sons David Gibson of Strasburg, Virginia, Jeffrey and Douglas Gibson of Marietta, and daughter Teresa Huber of Marietta; grandchildren David, Corbin, Tava, Christie, Ashley, and Tony; brother, Kennon Bennett of Acworth. Several in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
A Funeral Service was held in the chapel of Medford-Peden Funeral Home. Interment was in Mountain View Park Cemetery on Whitlock Ave in Marietta.
