Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Orin White, died September 19, 1987, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born March 20, 1919, Lyman, Wayne County, Utah, to Hyrum Jacob and Mary Okerlund White. Married Inez Rees, December 27, 1939. Retired from Sperry-Univac and he was a skilled craftsman. An avid sportsman; enjoyed golfing and fishing. Served in the Merchant Marine during WW II. An Elder in the LDS church.
Survived by wife, Salt Lake City; son, Edward O. White, Sandy, utah; two daughters, Mrs. Lynn (Gloria Jane) Davis, South Jordan, Utah; and Mrs. Steve (Patricia) Thomas, Salt Lake City; 8 grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Virgil White; Leah Chappell; Rula McKinlay; Kim White; all Salt Lake City; LaRue Guymon, Fullerton, California; and Phil White, North Platte, Nebraska. Preceded in death by a grandson, Bart Thomas; and a sister, Katie Alean Van Dyke.
Funeral services Tuesday, September 22nd, 12 noon, East Millcreek 11th Ward, 2702 East Evergreen Avenue (3425 South). Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Monday, 6-8 p.m, and at the Ward, Tuesday, one hour prior to services. Interment, Mountain View Memorial Estates.
