Obituary published in the Springfield Morning, Union News, Daily Republican, Sept. 28, 1934;

Fred Dupont, 44, of 55 State street dropped dead yesterday afternoon while drawing a check at the Springfield Safe Deposit and Trust company. An emergency call was made for the police ambulance but efforts to revive him proved futile and his body was removed to Graham's funeral parlors.

Mr. Dupont was born at Plattsburg, N.Y., and had made his home in Springfield for the past five years. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Stella Provost Dupont; three sons, Albert of Ludlow, Leodore and Eugene, both of Springfield, and three brothers, Charles of Springfield, Harry of Boston and Edward of Buffalo, N.Y. He was a member of St. Joseph's parish and a World war veteran, serving overseas for two years. The funeral will be held at Graham's parlors.

Marriage of Fred Dupont age 24, to Ethel Rounds age 16 on April 17, 1912 in Clinton Co., NY Fred's parents were Michael Dupont and Mary Patnide (Patnode), Ethel's parents were Wallace Rounds and Mina Felton. She was a minor, born abt. 1896.
