Mildred A. Travis, 69, of 326 Coddington Road died Saturday at her home after a long illness.

A native of LaFayette, Mrs. Travis resided most of her life in Ithaca. Her husband, C. Raymond, died in 1981. Mrs. Travis was a member and treasurer of St. Paul's United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Hoxie Tucker Ring of the Model Circus Builders.

Surviving are two sons, G. Travis of Lansing and R. Travis of Ithaca; three daughters, S. Heffron of Syracuse, L. Westover of Auburn and J. Clark of Chittenango; a brother, Walter Ames Jr. of Pennellville; two sisters, Susie Reed and S. Clark, both of Caughdenoy; 13 grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in St. Paul's United Methodist Church. Spring burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the church's memorial room after the services.

Contributions may be made to St. Paul's United Methodist Church.

E.C. Wagner Funeral Home of Ithaca has charge of arrangements.
