Harold “Butch” Kenneth Johnson, 70, passed away April 22, 2015 at his residence after a courageous battle with cancer.

Butch was born March 16, 1945 in Danville, IL to the late Harold & Mildred (Dukes) Johnson.

Butch graduated from Hoopeston High School in 1963. On August 15, 1965 he married Judy McFall.

Harold was a butcher for Jewel/Eisner Foodstore for 28 years. He later enjoyed work at Marsh Supermarket, Caterpillar, and Purdue University.

Butch was a member of Brady Lane Church of Christ, and recently attended Faith Church.

Butch loved laughter, friends old and new, all things family, Purdue sporting events, and especially playing with the grandkids.

Surviving with his wife, Judy, are two sons; Trent (wife Diane)and Dirk (wife Kristin; four grandchildren, Megan, Cody, Lance, and Luke;two brothers: Roy and Howard (wife Myrna) and 2 sisters: Joyce, and Connie (husband George).
