Mrs. Lydia Gruver, a widow, died Sunday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Emma E. Heller, at Bangor, aged 85 years. Mrs. Gruver was a native of Upper Mt. Bethel Township and resided at places in Northampton County all her life. She was one of Bangor's very oldest residents.

Besides Mrs. Heller, deceased is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Cecelia Eckert, of Bangor and a son, Simon Gruver, of New York City. Mrs. Gruver was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
