MUNCIE--Vera L. Cox, 83, died Tuesday in Muncie Health and Rehabilitation Center after a long illness.
She was born in Muncie and spent most of her life in the Muncie area.
Survivors: two sons, Joe and Sam Giorgianni; two sisters, Ada Barrett and Dorothy Clark; a brother, John Conn; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death: her husband, Carlton Cox.
Graveside services were held Wednesday at Union Cemetery, near Eaton.
Arrangements: Meeks Mortuary.
