He was born April 27, 1941 in North Little Rock, Arkansas, the son of Eugene Edward and Ruby (Rice) Armbrust.
Ron attended Louisiana State University, majoring in Architectural Engineering, followed by transfers to the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville and University of Arkansas-Little Rock, where he received a degree in Business.
He entered the construction industry as a partner in his father's firm, E.E. Armbrust and Sons, in North Little Rock. Ronnie specialized in the home building and commercial construction industries, building numerous Taco Bells throughout the South.
He was Vice President of Construction Estimating for Lindsey Construction Company for over 30 years.
Ron was a spiritual and steadfast man, known for his servant's heart and faithful adherence to his principles. Always true to his word, he was unwavering in his walk with the Lord and loyalty to his family and friends.
His beloved wife, Pat (Adams) Armbrust, recently predeceased him.
He is survived by children, Dave Armbrust of Fayetteville, and Druanne Stockland (and husband, Jim) of Fayetteville; three grandchildren; brother, Joe Armbrust of North Little Rock; and sister, Ruby Jean Schalchin of Conway.
A Celebration of Ron's Life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 21, 2017 at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
A gathering at the Elk's Club will follow the burial, and family and friends are all invited.
