EL CAMPO — Alice Mae Frels, 89, of El Campo, died Sunday, June 14, 1998.

She was born July 9, 1908, in Columbus, to the late Charles Lewis and Susan Halyard Schmidt. She was a homemaker and a Catholic and was a member of Catholic Daughters of America, St. Philip's Catholic Church, and was former president of St. Philip's Altar Society.

Survivors: daughter, Willie Mae Frels McColloch of Richmond; son, Earl B. Frets Jr. of El Campo; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: husband, Earl Bernard Frets Sr., three brothers and sisters; five half brothers and half sisters and three stepbrothers and stepsisters.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. today at Triska Funeral Home chapel

A wake service will be 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Philip's Catholic Church, the Rev. Michael Lyons officiating.

Burial will be at Holy Cross Memorial Park. Triska Funeral Home, El Campo, (409) 543-3681.
