Lova L. Wilson, 78, long time resident of Victoria, died at 10:25 p.m. Monday, Feb. 25, 1991, in a local hospital after a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Rosewood Funeral Chapels with the Rev. Daniel Zellmer, pastor of the Christ the Victor Lutheran Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Colonial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Rosewood Funeral Chapels.
She was born Aug. 30, 1912 in Columbus, to the late Carl and Sue Halyard Schmidt. She was a retired guidance counselor for the Victoria Independent School District, a member of the Retired Teacher's Association and a member of Christ the Victor Lutheran Church.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas H. Wilson of Victoria and Ben F. Wilson, Jr. of Huntsville; and a sister, Mrs. E. B. Frels of El Campo.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ben F. Wilson in 1959; and her son, Terry William "Billy" Wilson.
