Lynna Jean (Davis) Woods, age 77 of Deer, Arkansas passed away Monday, April 17, 2017 at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri.

The daughter of Scott Preston and Mamie Faye (Taylor) Davis was born on May 31, 1939 in Limestone, Arkansas. She was a member of the Deer Church of Christ. She loved reading all kinds of books and magazines, especially the Bible. She loved Bible studies, writing Bible lessons, mystery books and mystery television shows, talking with friends and family on the phone, especially about family history. She loved and enjoyed her five grandkids and especially loved and enjoyed her two great-grandkids and her cat "Kitty Blue".

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Garland Woods and one brother Jerry Davis.

Survivors are her four sons Garland Lynn and wife Cindi Woods of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Kerry Woods of Springdale, Arkansas, Tommy Woods of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Kelly and wife Brenda Woods of Deer, Arkansas; a sister-in-law Venita Davis of Harrison, Arkansas; five grandchildren Kayla (Woods) Cowell and husband Dustin, Jessica Woods, K.C. (Woods) Freeman and husband Alex, Grayson Woods and wife Nicole and Hunter Woods; two great-grandchildren Vayden and Hayden Freeman; special loved ones in Lynna's life, Jacque, Morgan and Payton Hawkins and Ovalene Davis; many nwphews, nieces and other family and friends.

Graveside funeral service will be 10 A.M. Friday, April 21, 2017 at the Curtis Cemetery at Limestone, Arkansas with Anthony McCutcheon officiating. Burial in Curtis Cemetery. Visitation from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper.

Pallbearers will be Joe Cowell, Leroy Adams, Chester Adams, David Heydenreich, Scott Wayne Davis and Tim Taylor. Honorary pallbearers will be Kim Cowell, Yalonda Martin, Alton and Leta Fonville and the Deer EHC Ladybugs.

Lynna's favorite Bible verses are Psalms 121:1-2 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
Psalms 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
