Jerry Scott Davis, of Harrison, passed from this life on Sunday, June 15, 2014 at his home. He was 61 years old.
Visitation is Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at Holt Memorial Chapel from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Graveside service will be Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Curtis Cemetery in Limestone, AR. Kelly Woods will officiate. Pallbearers are Garland Woods, Kelly Woods, Kerry Woods, Grayson Woods, Dustin Cowell, and Larry Clayborn. Honorary pallbearers include Mark Williams, Donnie Daniels, Lee Cox, Larry Davis, Ray Daniels and family, Barbara Hicks and family, Dr. Chitsey and Staff, and Dr. Abdelaal and Staff.
The son of Scott Preston and Faye (Taylor) Davis was born on February 7, 1953 in Deer, AR.
Jerry had varied interests but especially enjoyed working on cars and watching the western channel.
His parents preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Venita (Vick) Davis, of the home; two sons, Shawn Davis, of Bentonville, AR, and Scott Davis, of Harrison; one sisters and her husband, Lynna and Garland Woods, of Deer, AR; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Leonard and Dorothy Vick; sisters-in-law and their families; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to a charity of your choice.
