Frances Elizabeth Clayborn 88, of Lamar, passed away Monday, April 17, 2017 in Clarksville, AR.

Frances was born November 6, 1928 in Lamar, Arkansas to Pearl Adams.

Frances was a cattle farmer who enjoyed working in the hay fields, gardening, fishing, and walking.


Mrs. Clayborn is preceded in death by her Mother, her husband Hersel Clayborn, two brothers Bob Adams, Paul Adams, one sister Rita Childers.

Frances is survived by one daughter Brenda & Steve Russell of Clarksville, AR; one son David and Sheila Clayborn of Lamar, AR; grandchildren Todd Russell, David ”Norm” Clayborn, Gena Mayfield, Cody & Connie Mayfield; two great grandchildren Rowan Mayfield, and Remington Mayfield; her beloved dog Ladybug; and numerous nieces and nephews.


Mrs. Clayborn’s Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday April 19, 2017 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Thomas Chenowith officiating.

Burial will follow at the Lamar Cemetery with Norm Clayborn, Todd Russell, Chris Childers, Steve Childers, Cody Mayfield, and Ronnie Zachary serving as Pallbearers.
