MRS. REBECCA SHANNON

The funeral of Mrs. Rebecca Shannon will be held at 3 this afternoon from the funeral parlors of Undertaker William Snowden, 23 Broad Street, Pittston. Rev. James Benninger, pastor of Doranceton M.E. church will officiate. Burial will be in West Pittston Cemetery.

Mrs. Shannon died Wednesday at Danville State Hospital. She formerly resided in West Pittston, being the widow of Franklin W. Shannon. She leaves two stepchildren, Frank Shannon, state secretary of I.O.O.F., and Howard Shannon, both of West Pittston, and one sister, Mrs. Emma Colborn, of Newark.
